Taylor’s work focuses on themes of erasure, recombination, revision, spectrality, surrealization, derealization, and possession, and manifests primarily as text and sound. Taylor’s practice is currently situated in a discourse of interdimensionality and non-duality, working against practices of pure rationalism. His work is in the collection of the Los Angeles Contemporary Archive, and he has lead workshops and discussions on subjects such as listening, sound art, cryptography, digital audio production, critical theory, and aesthetics.
To inaugurate "Hemisphäre", Philip Sulidae is at its best! I can not say too much what seduces me in his art. Is it the balance between the calm passages and the more intense moments, the numerous textures sought, the multiple tracks of subtle details arranged? His work charms me as if he used the secret algorithm of a perfect aesthetic balance. To appreciate it properly, this high level experimental music must be listened to with a good quality headphones! drone2805
A totally absorbing album, I love how the subtleties and intricacies grab and hold your attention. Melodies and rhythms weave around drone and noise elements which themselves have great movement. Field recordings add tension, at times there's a mechanical feel yet each song also feels like an unfolding story that you are a part of. Andrulian
